On the River Traun
The Austria Classic Hotel Goldenes Schiff is located in the centre of Bad Ischl, directly on the River Traun. A few steps across the road and you’ll find the famous confectioners Konditorei Zauner, and in just a few mintues you can walk to the Kaiservilla, the imperial villa.
Round off your day in the workshop with a walk through the ‘Kaiserstadt’ or take a drive to the Wolfgangsee, just ten minutes away. The Wolfgangsee is one of the warmest bathing lakes in Austria. In summer, the health resort is famous for its numerous cultural events such as the Léhar Festival and the ‘Shake the Lake’ festival.
